In Matthew 14:35-36, those who were sick, hurting, needy, and afflicted were encouraged to seek the love and help of Jesus. This was not only for physical healing, as Jesus said, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I’m here inviting outsiders, not insiders—an invitation to a changed life, changed inside and out.” Luke 5:31-31 (The Message).
The mission verse the Lord has given us at FaithCare is Luke 9:2; “And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing”.
This sums up our aim at FaithCare! Today, Friday February 16, 2024, a team of USA FaithCare volunteers heads out for our first mission trip of this new year. We are going to Nigeria, and will be based out of the newly built FaithCare hospital. As always, we welcome your prayers for our team and all of the people who come to us who are sick, hurting, needy, and afflicted. We pray that He will work through the FaithCare team, as we seek to bring physical as well as emotional and spiritual healing. Pray that the Lord would guide many to this type of miraculous healing, with a changed life, changed inside and out.
As we start out 2024, let’s take a quick look back and give praise to the Lord for the thousands of lives touched during our 2023 ministry outreaches, recognizing that each of these numbers is an individual life with a story of how God touched them with His love through the FaithCare team:
