FaithCare Nigeria successfully conducted a medical outreach in Ogoja, Cross River, from the 8th to the 12th of July, 2024. The event was marked by the extraordinary presence and guidance of the Almighty God, enabling the team to provide crucial medical services to the community.
Over the course of five days, the dedicated team of volunteers consulted on a total of 2,001 patients, demonstrating a commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of the local population. Among the services rendered, 138 surgeries were performed, offering life-changing interventions to those in need. Additionally, 389 individuals received essential eye care services. Moreover, 118 individuals received much-needed dental care, enhancing their overall health and well-being.
The outreach also included 173 various laboratory investigations, underscoring the team’s comprehensive approach to healthcare delivery. These investigations played a vital role in diagnosing conditions and guiding treatment decisions.
In the spiritual counseling unit, 1,312 individuals sought solace and guidance, where they were offered consultation, prayers, and emotional support. Remarkably, 239 individuals made decisions for Faith & Spiritual growth, a testament to the impact of the outreach beyond medical care. Furthermore, 115 individuals experienced spiritual healing and / or rededications.
FaithCare Nigeria extends heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who generously dedicated their time and skills to make the outreach a success, as well as to all those who support FaithCare. The selfless service, generosity, and compassion towards the indigent patients exemplify the true spirit of altruism and solidarity. The impact of God’s love through the FaithCare team will undoubtedly resonate within the community for years to come, leaving a lasting legacy of care and compassion.
