From January 20 – 24th, 2025, FaithCare’s dedicated team of volunteers traveled to Kanke Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria, to serve those in dire need. This outreach was not only about providing medical care but about embodying Christ’s compassion and meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people. Many of those served had never seen a doctor and often lacked the financial means to access proper healthcare.

During this five-day event, FaithCare saw a total of 1,399 individuals, offering a wide range of medical services, including:

  • Medical consultations: 1,399
  • Surgeries performed: 129
  • Dental care: 112
  • Eye care: 450
  • Laboratory tests: 54
  • Prayer and counseling: 1,172 individuals
  • Spiritual decisions: 98 people made commitments to faith and spiritual growth
  • Bibles distributed: 5

This outreach exemplified the heart of FaithCare’s mission—showing love through service and touching lives both physically and spiritually. The team’s hard work and sacrifice were met with great need and response, as many individuals received not only healthcare but also the hope of the gospel.

Upcoming Opportunities

As we look ahead, we continue to see God’s work unfold through FaithCare:

  • FaithCare USA Team in Kuje Hospital (February 2025): A team from FaithCare USA will be joining our Nigerian volunteers to support the growth and expansion of the FaithCare Nigeria Kuje Hospital in the third week of February. This is an exciting opportunity for continued ministry and healthcare outreach in the region.
  • Exploratory Outreach in Sierra Leone: We are excited to announce an exploratory outreach planned for Sierra Leone at the end of February, with hopes of establishing a new chapter and expanding FaithCare’s ministry into this new country.
  • Potential Outreach in Ukraine: FaithCare is praying about sending a team to Ukraine for a possible outreach and ministry opportunity. Please keep this in your prayers as we seek God’s direction.
  • FaithCare PA Health Center: Our FaithCare PA Health Center continues to thrive, with many patients served during our first session of 2025.
  • FaithCare-Harrisburg Chapter: Our newest FaithCare-Harrisburg chapter, led by co-directors Jordan Miller and Marlene Barr, is meeting weekly and making a powerful impact in the local community.
