A message to our volunteers

Welcome to the FaithCare Wellness Center. Whether you are a student, physician, nurse, paramedic, physician assistant, counselor, translator or other volunteer, we are delighted to have you with us. The experience of serving those in need is often life changing both for the volunteer and the patient. Our goal is to bring hope and healing to and through the healthcare community.

Mission: FaithCare Wellness Center is a non-profit group of individuals, businesses, students, and healthcare professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life within the communities we serve. Our Wellness Center offers free services for people of all ages in order to promote health and wellness by integrating faith and medicine centered on treating the whole person.

Vision: The FaithCare Wellness Center seeks to provide comprehensive, dependable health services on a regular basis to those in need of care by:

* Integrating faith and medicine centered on treating the whole person.
* Assessing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each individual.
* Educating patients regarding good health and disease prevention.
* Assuring patients that the inability to pay for services will not prevent them from receiving quality healthcare.
* Providing an environment that encourages volunteers and staff to integrate their faith into their daily interactions with others.
* Helping others to understand that there is a general and specific purpose for our lives, and that faith plays an important role in our overall health.
* Treating all patients with dignity and respect regardless of race, creed, color, religion, age, national origin, disability, veteran’s status, citizenship status, or marital status.

The FaithCare Wellness Center is committed to providing affordable primary care while focusing on faith in relation to wellness.

The Wellness Center distinguishes itself from other Federally Qualified Health Centers and health care facilities by not only providing medical care but also by integrating faith into the application and delivery of health related services.

FaithCare Wellness Centers are nondenominational, and are open to all those seeking care, regardless of race, religion, or ability to pay.

At this time we offer consultation with a physician, pregnancy counseling, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose screening, diabetes counseling, and nutrition counseling, among other services.
