A Message from Dr. Schnatz

Welcome to the FaithCare website!  Our purpose is to encourage individuals in the health care field and local congregations to get involved in the integration of faith and medicine.

Our mission is to bring hope and healing to and through the health care community both locally and globally.

Our goal is to:  Encourage education for health care professional focused on treating the “whole” person.  To create a forum where healthcare workers can exchange ideas, share their faith, decompress and recharge in order to meet the rigors of health care delivery in today’s demanding world with confidence and hope that healing happens best when faith is at its core.

Our organization began in 1994, and since that time we have been active in community outreach, educational development, as well as global missions.  We have brought hundreds of volunteers from the US, who have donated their time and expertise to bring hope and healing to the uninsured and the needy.  Including the value of medications, supplies, equipment, general and GYN surgeries, dental procedures, ophthalmologic care and eye glass fitting, minor procedures, and general consultations. Typically we send two mission packs with each team member and estimate that each mission pack we carry is valued between $1,800.00-$55,000.00.

We hope to put a faith-based mobile medical unit on the road and continue our mission of developing faith based Wellness Centers whenever and wherever we can! This will provide an opportunity for us to mobilize faith-based medical teams for disaster relief efforts throughout the United States.

I invite you to visit one of our Chapter Meetings, volunteer at our Wellness Center or participate in a Global Impact Mission trip.

In faith and with great care,

Peter F. Schnatz, D.O.
